The Salesforce Mobile User Research team would love to hear from you on different ways to set up offline content for your mobile users! 

 

What are the potential pitfalls of using User/Public Groups to determine access to offline content? What, if anything, might you otherwise use to do so?

    You can at least report on profiles and roles and what users are in them. The structure of groups allows for easily mistaking an internal user group for an external. So without basic reporting on who is in the group, breeches are easily overlooked. And groups are often duplicated due to lack of knowledge of what is in each group.

    Itโ€™s not like permissions are a lot better For reporting, but they are easier to force people to follow the rules on, somehow.
