I have a general question about editing an object in Lightning.  We have a lightning pilot group of about 30 users.  One of their biggest complaints is when they click edit or new on any object, only about half the screen has the data for editing.  This causes them to have to scroll more to fill out the  data  and increases the time to create or edit a record.. 

However, instead of clicking edit if they click the pencil in a field the page spacing is the same as in display mode.

Is there a way when new or edit is clicked to have the page user more the screen instead of using about 50% of the screen.
