Hi everyone,
We have several Inactive Products in our Price Book, but users are still seeing them listed, which causes a lot of confusion. We cannot remove the Inactive Products completely because we may need to upload some historical data that reference the old Products and Prices.
What would be the best way to hide the Inactive Products from view?

I see; it sounds like the Sharing logic you recommend is the opposite of what I had in mind -- is that right? That should at least be more efficient, given the circumstances. As for creating new Price Books, I presume Cloning and manually selecting the Products is the only way to do so?
