The Roadmap mentions that an option for a denser layout will be available in #Winter19 (#Safe Harbor ) for @* Service Cloud * for #Lightning, which I'm super excited about!
Can you share any screenshots with examples what that may look like? Or do we need to wait for the Winter 19 Release Notes?

Thanks for the feedback @Martin Vyskocil . Agree we should make it possible to have more vertical space on the screen. We're exploring a "collapsible header" option right now.
