I am not sure if this can be done but here goes - I am trying to find out whether I can write a validation rule which throws an error unless the partner community user uploads a file at this particular stage under the Opportunity Object.

I currently have a validation rule in place which does not allow the user to move forward in stage unless they have ticked a checkbox, however, I want to add to this so that they cannot move forward unless they upload a customer declaration PDF under 'Files' as well as ticking the checkbox - otherwise they can just tick it and move on even if they haven't done it. 

The existing rule is; 

AND (Customer_Declaration_Signed_Uploaded__c = False, 

OR ( 

ISPICKVAL(StageName, "Prepare Credit Check"), 

ISPICKVAL(StageName, "Send Credit Check"), 

ISPICKVAL(StageName, "Contract Approved"), 

ISPICKVAL(StageName, "SAFRA"), 

ISPICKVAL(StageName, "Closed - Won"), 

ISPICKVAL(StageName, "Test Stage") 

) 

)
