Possible to log a call within Chatter in LEX?

In Classic, my users got used to being able to Log a Call within a Chatter window, so that it was shared in Chatter.

I don't see an option for this in Lightning - so far my best answer is to tell them to create the Task, copy the URL, and then create a Chatter post and paste the link - but this isn't easy for some, doesn't let you modify the display text of the link, and is a lot more work to their mind.

Am I missing a way to more easily link to things like pages within Salesforce from a Chatter window?  Is there a button I'm missing that could be displayed?

OR - is there another way Salesforce is expecting users to do this?  We are a tiny nonprofit, so this was just something they began to do when they wanted everyone to see something that happened - post it in our "Users - All" Chatter group.
