Has anyone ever attempted a drive and gotten no response from their group? No one in my group brought canned food to our meeting last month, so I was going to waiting until the holiday goodwill had worn off a bit and do my own food drive in our neighborhood around the first of February, but the Boy Scouts just beat me to it this week.

Feeling deflated, but will try again next year. Our group is growing and I won't be so new & overwhelmed next year - can start talking it up in August or September.
