We want our customer to have read access to our 'Work' records.
I have set view all permissions for this object and access to the pages/classes in their profile.
Unfortunately, I get the error: 'WorkChangeLists__r' is not a valid child relationship name for entity Work'.
How can we fix this? Maybe there should be a read only permission set in the package.

@Wilko Wielinga - Thanks for sharing! Unfortunately, I still get the same error. Besides the object access, I also added all classes & vf pages which doesn't prevent the error.
I used the temporary solution
@James Hatton also named. It would be handy if this permission would be included in the app's manage package.
