My customer had the following question:

"I am looking at add the Functionality of the new Chatter Based Libraries to my

Salesforce.com

Org. We have had this org for several years and have been working with the older Documents area. I would like to start using the newer system, but I am not 100% sure how to move my existing users to the new area simply and efficiently.

Turning the Libraries on and creating the new areas is the easy part, but I need to consider adoption and moving the current files to the new area. Has anyone else been in this situation? If so, how did you manage to implement to your teams (100 user org)."

Can anyone help with this request?

I suggest you "setup" processes and custom fields in the Libraries first before migration and then ensure your taxonomy is ready to go. Then you can load the content into Libraries. I feel as if this will help your "clean up" during migration as well as understand if you need 1 to many Libraries to segment the content. Please pre-plan. Managing Libraries is harder than managing content. Ensure your end-user experience is a good one to help with user adoption.
