Unable to pull <Doctype .html> into Data source

Hi all,

I have connected MySql to Tableau desktop. However one of the tables has a column that has an HTML file in it.

When I connect it to Tableau, this file does not pull in. It comes in as:

I need that file top pull in to extract some data.

Any ideas?

Hi Joseph,

Are you need the data in the html column? Or the data from the other columns in the datasource? I'd suggest filtering out that column to get the rest of the data to load if you don't need the information in the html. If you need data from the html, I'm not sure, but hopefully someone in the Community has tackled this issue before and has an idea to share
