ERROR while trying to connect to a GOOGLE SHEET :- An error occurred while communicating with Microsoft excel reader BAD CONNECTION : Tableau could not connect to the data source Error 3834D197 OCCURRED While loading the data source

I am getting error 3834D197 while trying to connect to a specific google sheet only. But, when the same content is copied over to another sample google sheet it works fine . The issue is with a specific google sheet only and not with all g-sheets. G-sheet does not contain any PIVOT tables

 

am using tableau 2020.2 version

    Thanks Mark to point this one out, it helped me solve my issue!

     

    I had a very similar issue and in my case a Sheet was named "test --->"and also I had another sheet with many gaps (empty cells) in between column headers, so I had headers for columns A, B, C then only for G, H, I.

    Fixing those resolved my issue.
