How to comment lines in tableau

As @Chris McClellan (Online Consultant (freelance))​ mentioned it depends on the Database you are using, because Tableau takes your Custom SQL and execute it in your Database. Normally with two dashes will create a comment:

-- THIS IS MY CUSTOM SQL

SELECT *

FROM TABLE
