#Salesforce Developer #OWD AccessIf an organization-wide default (OWD) is set to Private, how would you troubleshoot why a user can still access another user's records using role hierarchy, sharing rules, teams, and manual sharing?

Hi @M Anjil Reddy Good question! When OWD is set to Private, users can access their own records by default. However, additional access can be granted through role hierarchy, sharing rules, teams, or manual sharing.
I would check these points:
- Role Hierarchy: Check if the user is above the record owner.
- Sharing Rules: Verify owner-based and criteria-based sharing rules.
- Teams: Check Account Teams and Opportunity Teams for additional access.
- Manual Sharing: Verify whether the record was shared directly.
- Permissions: Check for View All, Modify All, or View All Data permissions.
- Record Access: Use the Sharing Hierarchy option to identify why the user has access.
Always check the record owner and sharing hierarchy first, then review other access settings.
