Is it possible to edit the displayed information OR disable completely the "Recent Activity" pull up bar in Salesforce Mobile?

Hi all, 

I've been Googling and not exactly finding any specific answers, so I'm curious if anyone else has tried to get rid of the swipe up "Recent Activity" timeline that shows when viewing an Account in Salesforce Mobile?  

It's a nice feature to have, but the way we need to show some custom Activity Reports conflicts slightly, so I'd like to either change what information displays in that swipe up OR just remove it completely. Anyone else ever try this?
