Is it possible to have different row height in tableau

Question

Dear All,

I have question is it possible to have different row height in tableau.

Example in excel we can adjust the row height based on the content in the cell, ex row 2 here has height 15 because the content of row 1 is short and row2 has height 90 because it is having longer content of row

When I tried this in tableau when I adjust the height of row2 it is automatically change for row1 to be having same height.

Attached is the sample workbook

This is just sample, in my real use case it is NOT possible to adjust the width of the column. I just want to know if there is a workaround to adjust row height based on the content of cell

Hi Ratna   Unfortunately this isn't possible.  Tableau doesn't have the same level of individual cell based manipulation as Excel.     Regards Donna

Hi Ratna and Tim,    You can create a variable row height by including additional dimensions to 'puff' out the rows, and then hide the headers. Logically, you will need more data points for the rows that you want to have additional height for the row.   HTH   Peter
