I have implemented Files Connect for Google Drive in Salesforce. The files visible under Google Drive under files however are not accessible when I run a query on the Contentdocument object. How ca n I access the files in SOQL.

I know I can query on the external object but I would like to know as once the google drive is connected the files in google drive should be like any other file within salesforce why is the same not accessible when I query on ContentDocument. Strangely though, I see the files under owned by me if I try to share the files from google drive and cancel the sharing. I am then able to fetch the file in my SOQL. This is a strange behaviour. It should either be under owned by me or there should be a way to move the files from google drive to owned by me or under Files rather than under Google Drive.
