Hi, I am looking for some guidance from this community on the potential risks of inadequate Salesforce training and how they could impact on an organisation.
A document is being put together for my organisation, and as a ‘super user’ I have gained some experience in how to use Salesforce without accidentally deleting important records, changing/ merging files and knowing what to consider before doing these tasks.
We have many Salesforce users who do not use it every day, and who would not routinely be making the same amendments/ changes which I do. But, they should still know how to use the CRM ‘safely’ and with an idea of what they are capable of doing.
My question is, without appropriate/ adequate training, is a basic user able to potentially put an organisation’s records at risk, by accidentally merging, deleting or sharing contact details and other sensitive information? Or any other issues which arise from a lack of training which, from your experiences, has impacted on a larger scale?
