How to Format Number to include Comma Separator in Visualforce Email Template

Hi,

Is there a way we can format a number field to include comma based on thousands place inside Visualforce Email Template Subject.

Example :  Email Subject is "Order Amount $163756" . 

I need this to be "Order Amount $163,756".

Any help on this is appreciated. Thanks in advance!!
