@William Hayes , we use the Apsona merge tool; we also use Apsona for data management. It is a paid app, but it doesn't charge by documents, it charges by the number of licenses. In our case, only a few people use the licenses. You can use it to create buttons on records to create merged documents, we use this for acknowledgements when we want to create Word documents. We also use it for some Excel documents for reporting.
