I'm looking at enabling person accounts in our org. The documentation has several "be sure you know what you're doing" notations that I'm a little leery of just doing it. Does anybody have any words of wisdom before I go down that path?

++ to what Quentin said above, I would consider as many options as possible. I would personally advise against doing it to considering long-term negative implications I have experienced (such as checking with help.salesforce.com every so often if XYZ would work with person accounts and in 99% receiving a no). It's a double-edged sword.
