I've been trying to add a custom lookup field I created to the "new task" in the activity section. I've added it to the global actions and to the task page layout. It appears in the task layout and when creating a task on the task page. But, when creating a task in the activity section (in an opportunity for example) it doesn't appear there. Any ideas?
