I've run into a reporting issue, and would like to know if anyone else has had a similar issue.
We have a Resource object, containing a Resource Name, Role, Start Date and End Date. I'm trying to create a matrix report as follows:
- Report Rows grouped by Resource Name and Role
- Report Columns grouped by weekly date range (e.g. 16/05/2016 - 22/05/2016). If a Resource Start and End Date is within the weekly range, i'd like either a record count of 1 to appear in the matrix, or a value of 'Y', otherwise a record count of 0 or a value of 'N'. I would also like to conditionally highlight these (if possible). Green for 1/'Y', Red for 0/'N'.
As there are 2 different date fields, the grouping doesnt work very well.
Does anyone have any suggestions for this please?

Thanks for your response, but i dont think this will give me what im looking for. So if a Resource was placed for 3 weeks, i would like to see an output similar to the below mock-up
Is this even possible? I dont know how i would get the calendar dates to display as per above.
Any suggestions?
