Does anyone know if there is another way to send e-mails from Outlook to the records of custom objects in Salesforce than by adding reference record ID and My Salesforce email address to the email (in BCC)?
I was thinking more like a button where you could choose whether to send e-mail or not, and once you click it, email would be attached to the record it refers to?

Hello Dorotea,
well this is not supportted OOTB, but you can partially achieve this. In User settings > Email > My Email to Salesforce you have you Email to SF address (long one). Anytime you send email to this address I will appear in "My Unresolved Items", where you can manually assign this email to any object in Salesforce. On record page it'll be displayed in Activity history. Hope this helps.
