hard coded references

Question

We have an org migration coming soon... I'm a non technical solo admin & one thing keeps nagging at me; A while back I downloaded the graphics pack from the app store & use some of those graphics in various formulae. Obviously the formula references the document. So, when we move from EU5 to 14, will the document url change & so I will then need to update the formula?

Can I do this in advance? or must I wait till after the event?

Should I be worrying about anything else? It's terrifying to have this foisted upon me.

If I bury my head in the sand & do nothing, whats the worst case scenario??

Hi Liz,

In this specific case, you are ok as you are not hardcoding the instance in the formula at all

for e.g. if the formula was written something like below then that would be an issue as you are hardcoding the instance in the formula

Hi Liz,   You could do this in advance, could you please provide a sample formula where the instance is hardcoded, you will need to modify the formula such that the instance is not hardcoded into the formula   I believe you have gone through this  Article , if not, please go through the same
