chatter @mention duplicates

We have 20K users and growing. We often @mention someone with a common name in Chatter and get back several duplicate names. Only other field displayed is Title which is usually worthless. Is there any way to change the configuration to display Name/email rather than Name/Title?

    Hi William,

     

    At this time, there's no other option to configure this. However you can set the email address of the user as the Title, if this field is not being used in your org.
