SalesForce API endpoint change

Question

We have received a mail to update our integrations to replace www.salesforce.com with https://login.salesforce.com, as the official endpoint for the Salesforce API.

Apart from updating the salesforce API URL to login.salesforce.com, is there any other changes required?

Hi Niharika,

In the application that is interfacing to Salesforce.com's API, just change the literal value of "www.salesforce.com" to "login.salesforce.com". There is no change within Salesforce itself.

No other changes are required.
