Opportunity related list on assets page

Perhaps I am missing something, but is it possible to have a related lists for opportunities on the asset screen?  We are manaing assets that have ongoing opportunities (renewals) and we would like to be able to track on the asset screen the initial sale date (new opportunity) and upgrades to the asset (upgrade opportunity), as well as all of the ongoing renewal opportunities (renewal).  We would like this to be running with dollar values so we can see what the total value of the asset is (so counting all closed/won opportunities) in some sort of roll up formula.

    The only way to natively get a related list is to have an asset lookup field on the opportunity. This will work if you only have one asset per opportunity. Otherwise, you will probably need a junction object (child of Oppty and Asset) to link the two together if there is a many to many relationship.
