On a weekly basis sales reps are responsible for submitting their forecast to management, and Managers would like to receive an automated email confirming when one of their direct reports submits their forecast (similar to the email they would receive when an opportunity is closed).
I believe we have looked into this before so I am not sure if there is a way for us to accomplish this, but wanted to see if anyone else had any luck.

Currently, workflow has not been integrated into the forecast object. It's on the roadmap.
