We have a requirement that a few fields need to be changed on any activity and using LinkPoint, the activity launches in salesforce upon sending. Is there a setting or a way to have Salesforce for Outlook launch the actual activity not just link the email as an activity?
I have Outlook Publisher Layouts including New Task but not appearing on Salesforce Side Panel in Outlook.

Thank you for the response. I had read most of these links. My main question...is there a way for an activity to launch for immediate editing using Salesforce for Outlook? So, that user doesn't have to navigate to the activity?
