The end goal identify items in the top and bottom 20% percentiles based on sales performance. The quick calculation option for percentile is based on rank and does not account for weight.

 

The percentile field also needs to adjust based on current view/filtered data so that I can filter by product type/size/price, etc. and see percentile performance in each sub-segment.

 

I included a simple sample workbook for reference. Thanks for the tips and recommendations!

    so if I understand you want to find the top and 20% of skus that contribute the total top 20% of sales and bottom 20% -- that is not done with percentiles - it is done with nested table calculations -
