SMS – Can Pardot (by itself) accommodate SMS and push notifications.

In essense pardot is email based, you can in fact embed in the process SMS whilst is integrated in core Salesforce, you can orchestrate your process so that aligns with for example an studio. Makes sense?

So, to translate your answer to my question… a couple more granular questions for you.
1. Pardot is an email platform – not a full MAP (Marketing Automation Platform) unless it is integrated with a CRM such as Salesforce.
2. SMS functionality must be programmed in Salesforce to full automated SMS campaigns.
3. The area in Salesforce that SMS campaign programming is configured is in “Engagement” studio?
4. Do we need any other plugin like Twillio API to have all the tools to do automated and trigger (ie: Sales rep can tag a contact for time sensitive/one-off SMS message)?
I think answers to the above will give our team the clarity we need. Also – is there a link to a video tutorial on how to set this up based on a Pardot stand-alone VS. Pardot with Salesforce CRM integration in place? I gather the Pardot stand alone use case is not possible at all – correct?
