I have a use case where I need to create an "App launch" page within a community. The App launch page will let users see Apps that they have access and then launch the app. The majority of the apps will be URL which will take the users outside of the community, actually outside of SFDC. I was planning on creating Lightning Apps for each of these as I could control who can see what, but I cannot embed the App Launcher in a page. I know that I can include the App Launcher in the navigation, but this not quite what we are looking for.
I have also looked at the Aloha template for a new community, but this does not work as this is nothing but the App Launcher. I need a solution that will allow a user to have the App Launcher embedded in a page, but also provide other tabs to things like; publications, forms, calendar...
Has anybody seen something like this? The Aloha template, within another Community template.
Nothing out of the box that I can think of. I would say if the App Launcher within the Nav is not desired you may need to turn to creating a custom component for that page to display your "apps."
