I am not able to opt contacts back into receiving salesforce emails.  I can't seem to find anything about how to do it.  A good example is that I have a student who initially opted out of email, but has since changed their mind.  

 

1) Unchecking the Opt Out box doesn't solve the problem.

 

2) I attempted to create an opt in function through Form Assembly and it doesn't work.  After 24 hours it goes back to being opted out.

 

3) I've created a ticket asking SF about how to fix it and they were not helpful.

 

Thoughts?
