Yesterday a financial application came through for a lead. This lead had a record that was converted two months ago. When the user handling financial applications opened the link, they recieved a notice that this lead had been converted. When I (system administrator) view the lead I can see it just fine. What permission might be causing that?

Alright, dug deeper and our issue is totally different than what I thought it is. What is actually happening is the custom Financial Application object is remaining related to the lead when the lead is converted and is not being related the new person account.
