Validate Change Set Access?

Can users without the development and deployment functionality in production validate change sets? Which setting enables users to be able to validate a change set?

    Hi Amber - no, users need “Deploy Change Sets” AND “Modify All Data” in order to validate change sets, but that also lets them deploy.  

     

    You do not want to give users the Modify All Data permission unless they are also an admin and have a good understanding of Salesforce.  That is a powerful admin permission you don't want to give out just anyone.
