When I press the button "Select Products to Reduce" I get an error message "You can't create a reduction order, because you don't have access to the required fields."
I am an admin and I have tried giving myself access to every concievable field that could be affecting this to see if it makes a difference, but haven't found a solution. And ideas?

I suspect the culprit is the Original Order Product. It seems that by default that isn't visible. Change this to visible for the appropriate profiles and this might resolve the issue:
