Here is what I'm trying to do.

Some of our clients can buy a certain number of help desk hours. We use dreamteam for logging time, and from dreamteam we calculate how many hours they have used and bill them (I don't have much impact on this area, so i can't change that).

I have a field that allows system admin to put in hours purchased manually into the dreamTeam Projects object, and I ran a summary report which summarizes by project name. It shows hours purchased, time spent (from "DreamTeam" Time time field, I had to have this summarize or it would show every entry), and then a formula that calculates hours remaining.

I now want this to show up in Projects. It would be ideal if I could just get the info from the report and have it populate a field. Is that possible at all? I tried to pull from DreamTeam times but I can't figure it out. I think it may have to do with the fact that there are many many many times entered separately.

I believe you can create a formula field to bring the data of one field to another however if they both are on different objects the 2 objects must be related.

In this case you might need to create a rollup field on the Dreamteam object and then have a formula field on the project object.
