Does anyone know if there is a way to report with links to attachments for a given object? Basically, what I'm looking for is a report where I can click on the attachment link related to a record to view it instead of having to open each record detail page and view it from there. I've tried using Chatter reporting (thinking I can post the files there instead of having them in "notes & attachments") but it only gives me the "title" of the file, not a link. My developer is looking into using VisualForce with REST API from Apex but thought there may be a simpler solution. Any feedback and thoughts on this subject is appreciated!
You might want to take a look at the File Gallery app. You can search, sort, and export listings of attachments. The listings include links to the attachments as well as to the parent object and the owner. With graphics files and video files, you can hover to instantly preview in a popup. It also enables searching, sorting and previewing chatter and content files and document files.
