About 6 years ago, I was introduced to MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform when we started on our journey toward digital transformation for my company. As a novice, I started searching for ways to learn about Anypoint Platform, and the MuleSoft Community was one of the best places to get direction on where to start. In early 2018, I discovered Trailhead and the great MuleSoft content available there.

I love participating in the Community in a variety of ways! I'm currently a MuleSoft Meetup leader in Japan; we host and present Meetups for the MuleSoft Community in Tokyo. In my free time, I like writing blog posts, and creating videos that I think will help people understand our technology more.

Learning something new is always a challenge, not only because the technology is complicated, which it can be, but because balancing priorities and finding the time to learn can be a challenge. Participating in the Community keeps me learning in a way that is fun and doesn't feel like work. If I didn't have the community, I might not be as driven to keep learning and sharing what I learn.

I've learned many technical skills, have expanded my knowledge of both the MuleSoft and Salesforce Platforms, and begun to learn more about management via Trailhead. My motto in life is “Learning and Sharing” and so I'd say being a Trailblazer means to live a life of continued learning and sharing.

Persistence is key to learning. Don't be a stranger to the Trailhead and MuleSoft Community; they're made up of incredible people who are there to help you reach your goals along the way.
