Hi @Althea Lim, to receive alert on Mobile app you need to create Custom notification and send it through the Flow.

1- Create Record-Triggered Flow on Event and create a Scheduled Path.

2- Then Setup ->  Notification Delivery Settings -> Custom Notification Types -> Edit Choose custom_event_name  -> Check Mobile (Android and iOS App)

Our use case is to have a pop-up message display to users who are assigned to a queue when a new lead record is created. Will your app work for this and if so how?

    Hi @Ramona Marshall

Yes, This use case can be handled, but there are a few important details about how Salesforce queues work that determine how the popup can be shown.

    How it works

A queue itself is not a real user, so it cannot “open” Salesforce or receive a popup directly. But when a new Lead is assigned to a queue, the queue members (real users) can receive a notification or popup depending on how the app or automation is set up.

Two reliable ways to show a popup to queue members

    1. Popup when a queue member opens Salesforce

If your app supports showing an on-screen popup (like a banner, toast, or modal), you can configure it to appear when:

    • The user logs in
    • The user refreshes a page
    • Or the user opens the Lead list view / homepage

The popup would show something like: “You have a new Lead assigned to your queue.”

    This works by checking:

    • Whether the user is a member of the queue
    • Whether a new Lead was assigned since their last login or page load

This is fully supported by most notification or popup components.

    2. Popup triggered when the user opens the lead itself

If your app supports record-level popups, you can trigger the message when:

    • The user (who is a queue member) opens the newly created Lead
    • The Lead is still owned by a queue

This is technically the cleanest option because it matches Salesforce ownership rules.

    What cannot be done automatically

Salesforce cannot instantly “push” a popup the moment a Lead is created — because users are not actively listening for events unless a component or custom code is running.

    So real-time popups require:

    • A Lightning Web Component
    • Or a third-party app with real-time event listening (Platform Events or CometD Streaming API)

If your app supports those technologies, then yes, it can show a live popup.

Works great when first loads a Lead record. I have a optional criteria to show a flow popup when a Lead was in a especific status. In community works great, a user open a lead without popup, when change status and meet the criteria, flow popup works fine. Therefore, in lightning this behavior is not working, just appears on first load, if meet the criteria.

Anyone has the same problem

@Khyati Mehta thanks for your quick response. I can handle this with Component Visibility in Lightning page and Optional Criteria in Communities and everything works.

Admin's need all their API versions to be 45 or higher in order for our orgs to use ICU locale formatting.

Anyone found an alternative or did you develop your own?

I am also trying to get a hold of popup's vendor so they can provide an updated API package so we can use ICU locate formats.   Anyone hear back?

I've read through multiple posts explaining why this is needed.  I still don't see a way to hide the close button.  Has this been implemented yet?

Has anyone managed to get an updated version so that the API meets the minimum requirement for the ICU Locales?

I have a client who is still running Apex Classes with API Version 43.  Their Sandbox is due an update now and their Production org is mid June (as is similar timeframe for all), but I'm concerned that having checked there isn't an update available at the moment and the impact this may have on the current use.

Appreciate an update if anyone has one.

Many thanks

I'm struggling with this now too. Is there an update version we can install?

Is it possible to show a warning message during lead conversion if a field x which is also on Account object will get overriden from the field on lead object?

This is for scenarios where during lead conversion, a new account is not created and it already has a value in field x. Its fine to override it but just a warning message should be shown to the user.

The pop up should only show once.

Thanks for responding, flow doesn't work unless I do a screen flow. The custom error message feature in flow prevents the transaction from completing which in this case is not desirable.

Hi. I just installed PopUps this week and when an account loads we are now receiving this error message: a problem occured: no such column 'rrpu__alert_message__c' exists on entity 'account' salesforce.

Can you assist in resolving this.

Thanks!

    Hi @Donna Autrey,

    1. Check if the field exists:

    • Go to Setup → Object Manager → Account
    • Under Fields & Relationships, search for rrpu__alert_message__c

If it doesn't exist, proceed to step 2.

If it exists, check your field-level security and profile access.

    2. Reinstall or Fix the Package:

    • It’s likely that the PopUps package installation was incomplete or failed to deploy all components.
    • Try uninstalling and reinstalling the managed package (PopUps).
    • Or contact the package provider (developer/vendor of PopUps) and raise a case.

    3. Check for Custom Code:

    • If this error appears from a custom Lightning component or Apex code, search for any references to rrpu__alert_message__c and comment/remove/update them as needed.

If this work for you please mark it as the "Accepted answer". so it can help other too.
