Recently my company upgraded our version of Tableau Server 2021.1.4. I know that the log4j vulnerability was discovered right after that upgrade but they have taken steps to resolve this issue.
My question is this - right after this upgrade, we started encountering delays when trying to open a dashboard from a bookmark. The delay can be anywhere from 30 seconds to 2 minutes and it doesn't really seem to matter what browser you are working with (IE. Edge or Chrome) but the best performance is has been using Edge and Chrome.
The work around that we have been suggesting to our customers is to open the dashboard via the bookmark. When they get the blank screen with no reaction, hit the reset button. Usually this does the trick and the dashboard comes right up.
Our sever admin seems to think it is something with our computers (i.e. Windows) and not Tableau. That said, we use a lot of Sharepoint and do not encounter delays except when trying to open a dashboard.
Just wondering if anyone had a suggestion or a recommendation, if you had a similar or the same issue.

What I found out was that the delay we are experiencing when opening a dashboard from a URL is a "glitch" with server version 2021.1.5. We are due to upgrade our version on March 12 which should take care of this issue.
