We are pulling data from 2 different data sources using blend, our dashboard consists of 1 Parameter and 3 filters.
When we try changing the parameter(A or B) from one to another the dashboard breaks (Shows no data)
Reason : One of the filter does not have the relevant values for that Parameter.
We tried adding an button "Apply All Filter" option but it didn't work out as we also have parameter in the dashboard. We also tried adding Reset button but that resets the filter to All values.
In out scenario, we don't want All values or multi select option. We need single select values for the filters when the parameter is changed and our dashboard shows data (i.e. data for only one default value). Please advise on this.

Thank you for your reply, however in the solution provided above we are adding a default as LOVs however in my scenario, when I am trying to switch between the parameter the dashboard is going blank.
Attaching sample workbook.. Here when I try to switch from Category to Sub Category after the selection of Sub-Category filter then my dashboard breaks.
