I am new to this role and trying to learn how to bring shells from opportunities in previous campaign to new campaign. I was told that we use the last two years as the shell and then increase the amount by 5% for the new ask for this year. The previous campaign was setup with opportunities already created for people who had pledged in the last two years, and each opportunity included a requested ask amount that was 5% more than the previous pledge so that solicitors can use this data when soliciting donors. The created opportunities can then be used to create new pledges made for current campaign.
Hi, one opportunity cannot be linked with multiple campaigns. There is an idea to build this feature however there are some custom solutions that can be implemented. The simple way is to clone the opportunities using a scheduled flow. The flow will get the campaign, get its opportunities and create copies of those opportunity as new records. If you need to modify anything that can be doable while inserting new opportunities. Start with implementation and community can help you further.
