I've been trying to understand how the Topic selection of the Agenda section works and I haven't found anything concrete. At some point I noticed with two users that I was checking that if the Invitee had the Support Staff Member as one of his/her CaseTeamMembers then it would display all the topics associated to that Support Staff Member plus any other that this users had assigned and if the Assigned Support Staff Member doesn't have the Invitee on his/her list then it would display all of the topics related to the invitee's CaseTeamMembers plus the Topics associated to the current Support Staff Member creating the appointment.

Still in other cases this didn't work, it wouldn't display any topics at all or it would display a lot more than the related Support Staff Member had. Does anybody here know how it works that could explain to me so I can do modifications to the topics displayed successfully?

More clarification: This is the

Student Success Hub section for New Appointment, from their component SSH Appointment Manager, is the screen you see when clicking the New Appointment button. If I do the test with my user logged in (Admin) I can see all topics no matter the user I choose, or at least I haven't noticed any topic missing. If I login as another user in this case an Advisor I see different topics depending on the Invitee selected, sometimes I don't even see any topics to select which is why I'm asking the question I haven't been able to find how it selects which topics to display.

How do I know which topics are dispalyed on the New Appointment screen

    Good morning @Francisco Lozano

If you are referring to EDA/SSH (and not the new Education Cloud), then I can help.

The Salesforce SSH managed package had issues scaling i.e. if your org uses more than Salesforce's recommended 30-ish Topics. To mitigate this limitation, Salesforce recommended making the OWD for Topics into a private object - and then writing sharing rules. If this is what has been done in your org, then different advisors would have access to different subsets of Topics when selecting New Appointment.

Please review Setup > Sharing Settings > Topic
