I have done a bit of googling but figured it best to ask the experts as well:
Is there a Database(s) that would have High School and Middle School data that we could call out to using an API?
Mostly looking for this information:
- School Name
- School Address (street, city, state, zip)
- School Population (ideally by grade)
Right now one of our staff members is doing this manually and it's killing me haha there must be a way to automate this, right?

I believe most of us use the College Board's CEEB list, which has some of this data -- we load them as Accounts with the Education Institution record type -- but there are some resources out there.
The Department of Education makes College Scorecard data available via an API: https://collegescorecard.ed.gov/data/documentation/
NCES has Access databases for IPEDS: https://nces.ed.gov/ipeds/use-the-data/download-access-database and Files for Surveys: https://nces.ed.gov/ipeds/datacenter/DataFiles.aspx?gotoReportId=7&fromIpeds=true&
The National Student Clearinghouse has guidance on using the data, which includes a school crosswalk from the Clearinghouse to IPEDS: https://nscresearchcenter.org/workingwithourdata/
