Hello Trailblazers,

As part of our ongoing effort to simplify the non-product experiences, we are rolling out a global header and navigation to integrate various websites and evolve the information architecture around our users. So far, we have rolled it out on the corporate web, blog, newsroom, Salesforce+, Trailhead and Community. Now, rather than navigating to multiple properties in order to get things done, we’re unifying them so you can easily find what you need across the ecosystem.

We continue to listen and learn from our earlier rollouts and thanks to feedback from the community, our latest version will incorporate the following enhancements and fixes:

  • Improvements to accessible labels, allowing Screen Readers to better recognize the Contact, Login and Search functions in the Header across devices.
  • Improvements with Global Navigation tabbing when using Assistive Technology.
  • Fixes to Contact Menu localization including telephone numbers, across supported languages.

What’s next... Developer & Help

On Friday, April 28 we are rolling out the new global header and navigation to Salesforce Developer and Help sites.

What’s Changing: The navigation experience for the Developer and Help sites will look different than before. When you arrive on the respective pages you’ll see the new Global Header and Navigation. Below that, you will see the Context Navigation.

Thanks @Ethan Norris. I really appreciate the feedback.  We've uncovered some issues along the way but are committed to simplify the user experience.  Thank you all for your partnership on this.
