Backup and restore

Hello All. We are implementing Backup and restore in our salesforce orgs but we have few questions before proceeding. Please see below. Can anyone help with below questions.

•Can we put the data in on Company premises?

• What can end users do vs what does admins have to do?

• Can we back up the entire org, what should we back up and what should be ignored

• Does the config have to be manual to select individual objects associated with apps or is there

any other automated way?

• Can we restore deleted data? (Full capability individual object vs full org restores)?

• Will the data be modified or deleted after restoring?

• Does AWS region for backup makes any difference?
