I have created a flow that updates the parent record field based on the client record update. when I debug the flow it's running fine. but when I create or update the data its not working.

When you say it's not working, what does that mean? Are you getting errors? Is it not updating the field on the parent? Does it update it with the wroong value?
ALso, what is the Start element like (object, entry conditions, on creation/update, etc)? and how do you update/create a record for this flow to trigger?
