I have implemented custom email functionality to send email from salesforce to external user. As part of this , we are using <lightning:insertImageButton /> to embed images into method body however when i sent image to external users Images is not displaying in gmail and outlook desktop. At the same time images displaying properly in outlook webmail. Does anyone experience this issue ?

I think the issue is that image is not available externally.
