Do we know why we can’t set the lightning component visibility based on the permission set group ? I can see standard and custom permissions under component visibility but cannot see permission set group. Any idea on how to make this work ?

If you add it to the group directly or to one of the permission sets in the permission set group it will be attached to all users with that permission set group assigned to them.
